Just because the diamond does not move does not indicate that it is a fake. It depends on how tight the pins are held on the back of the diamond. I have had originals obtained from veterans where there was no movement of the diamond.

I have been wearing a Luftuaffe belt buckle since 1970, my uncle gave it to me, he got it at the surrender at Berlin, He and a German Soldier exchanged belts. It finally broke. I am 70 now and still wish I could wear it.
